ENTRY AND HOURS

Museum building: Museum facilities are accessible to persons with physical disabilities.

Download the Museum Accessibility Guide.

NO PASSES are necessary for entering the Museum building, special exhibitions, the interactive Wexner Learning Center, and other Museum resources. Even if you cannot get Permanent Exhibition passes for the day you want to come, we invite you to visit and take advantage of the Museum's many other learning opportunities. Find out what's inside.

FREE TIMED PASSES are necessary for visiting the Permanent Exhibition — The Holocaust — and can be obtained at the Museum on the day of your visit or in advance by calling tickets.com at (800) 400–9373. Each day, the Museum distributes on a first–come first–served basis a large but limited number of timed entry passes for use that same day.

Allow extra time when you first arrive at the Museum to pass through the building entry line that can form during spring and summer.

What Films Can We Attend?
From March 17 to July 31, 2008, a daily selection of Museum-produced films will be offered to our visitors. Please pick up a Today at the Museum flyer at the Information Desk for specific show times. Support for the presentation of these films has been provided by the Helena Rubinstein Foundation:

  • Nazi Rise to Power
This 13-minute film traces Adolf Hitler's and the Nazi Party's ascent to power in Germany, paving the way for the Holocaust and World War II.

  • Liberation, 1945
This 15-minute film includes the stories of Holocaust survivors and their liberators, soldiers who freed victims from Nazi camps at the end of World War II.

  • Defying Genocide
This 19-minute film explores what it takes to defy genocide through two stories, one about the Holocaust and the other about the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
